Seminars

Once you graduate from FastTrac you go on to more focused training tailored to your needs. The Chamber connects you with industry experts and licensed professionals in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, marketing, legal, credit, and customer service. Industry experts teach small-group seminars and serve as one-on-one business coaches.

Seminars consist of the following:

• Four small-group sessions (maximum of 12 participants).
• A fifth session is a private session between the student and business coach.

The credit seminar addresses:

• Issues that affect your credit, such as bankruptcy, child support, back taxes, student loans.
• How to build or improve your credit.
• Personal finances and personal credit.
• Income statement and balance.
• Cash flow projections.

The bookkeeping seminar covers:

• Handling receipts and petty cash.
• Accounts receivables and payables, including employee travel and reimbursable expenses.
• Payroll, including Forms I-9 and W-4.

The marketing seminar includes:

• Mission statement worksheet.
• Internal and external communications.
• Tight budget advertising.
• Strategic partnerships.

Space is limited; priority is given to FastTrac graduates and Incubator tenants.
