Miranda Owens(left), Goodell, Stratton, Edmonds & Palmer, LLP, was the winner of the races at the Heartland Park Topeka Fast Forward event hosted May 8 by Waste Management.  Her winning performance was 15.533 seconds and 88.8 miles her hour.  Shannon English (right), FastSigns, finished second at 15.648 seconds and 88.5 miles per hour.

Fast Forward is a group of young Topeka business professionals on the move. They've joined together to improve themselves, the business community and the City of Topeka. They're on the fast track for success - Fast Forward.

Fast Forward hosts social/networking events at least monthly where Topekans ages 20-40 that work for Chamber member firms can share ideas, learn something new, and always just have fun. A wider network means the opportunity for new, fresh ideas to improve the way we work -- and better problem solving.

Fast Forward will also host one or two educational luncheons with speakers addressing topics of interest to young professionals.

Attendance means added exposure for your company in the business community. It's also a great way to recognize your energetic young employees, enhance their leadership abilities, and reinforce their value to your company. Employees who feel valued are more satisfied, productive, and stay longer.
